Consumer Complaint: Primary cardholder died on XX/XX/XXXX. I notified Citi-Bank by telephone shortly after – and the account was summarily closed. I requested a final statement. I began receiving phone calls from XXXX XXXX which I did not answer – as did other family members – nor did I respond to their letter. There is no probate estate – there is a living trust – I am the surviving trustee and administrator of the estate.

I called Citi again – explained the trust and requested a statement so I could pay the final bill. I was told they could not provide one.

I wrote a letter to Citi on XX/XX/XXXX requesting a statement and received a ” we’ll get back to you ” letter dated XX/XX/XXXX. There has been no further communication from C

iti – but I now receive daily calls from Client Services – which I have blocked. In my opinion it is Citi ‘s responsibi
lity to provide the statement which I am quite sure these collection companies can not do and it is reasonable to request the details of the final account statement. I would like the harassment to stop!
