Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Minnesota are trying to sue me for a possible old debt which I do not remember. They claim it is a credit card and the bill is in my old last name, a name I haven’t had since my divorce over 13 years ago.

I do not even remember this and do not even know if the amount is valid. They keep updating the date as if it is a new debt, raising the cost of it and threatening me to sue me at each new job I get. I was on public assitance due to raising XXXX kids myself and now finally off it but my take home pay is small due to health insurance. I have been a single mom these past 13 years.

I called the company they are choosing to represent them ( XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX Minnesota a year or two ago for evidence that this is a true amount.

I don’t remember borrowing or even qualifying for a XXXX credit card as my credit rating was low I stated that I need some statement to prove I actually had an account and how much I actually owed, for what. etc. They refused to provide that. They are about to try and sue me again. I have links to prove that they do illegal debt collection acts. I need help to get them to stop!
