Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I called the number listed for this account on my XXXX credit report and I asked the collection agency to verify the debt and they could not. As an alternative they offered to settle the {$3100.00} debt for {$1200.00}. I insisted that I need to verify the debt and they promised to send me statements from the original creditor. As of this date I still have not received any written communication to verify this debt from this collection agency.
