Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX pretending to be USA Funds sent correspondence to addresses that were not mine. I received the mail from my mother and mother in law several weeks later which indicated they were to start a wage garnishment. I promptly replied that I requested a hearing as I had not been on my job but one month and had not worked since XX/XX/XXXX, as I am XXXX and awaiting an appeal hearing from the SSA. I also forwarded financial statements indicating abgarnishment would cause a major hardship. I received no confirmation only copies of my promissory notes from years ago, with no cover letter or anything. I had also indicated I was interested in loan rehabilitation and asked how I could start that program.
A few weeks later, with no notice, they began garnishing my wages. About a week after that, I received a letter stating they cancelled my hearing, of which I had never received any confirmation would happen. A couple of months later, I received a letter from a company named XXXX. I called them and hey set up loan rehab for me. To date, there have been no payments applied to my loans from the garnishments which were taken illegally. I would like to have my money returned to me that was stolen from my paychecks, as I am no longer working due to my XXXX, and have absolutely no income. I am also in the process of filing for XXXX forgiveness anyway. The way that was handled was in direct violation of my rights and they should be prosecuted for theft by deception.
