Consumer Complaint: I signed a lease at XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX for the following year XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX, I later found out that I had to move due to military orders and notified the apartment complex verbally. XXXX XXXX was the leading manager at the time and he told me that he would take care of the issue and I was fine. Turns out they still had me under the responsibility of the lease, even though another person, XXXX XXXX, moved into this same unit # XXXX during the time of the lease. I also later realized that I didnt pay any application, administration or deposit and the complex ran my credit any way and allowed me to sign a lease before getting approved. I called and they told me that they didnt have any emails or other records from XXXX XXXX because he quit. I went to talk to the new leasing manager, XXXX, and she did not provide me with any assistance, instead she gave me the number to the property manager, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I contacted XXXX XXXX through email and he asked for my the military orders and I sent them. After several weeks of no responses to my constant emails, voice mails, and text I sent a final email on the intent to sue for wrongful debt. Then and only then did another person, XXXX XXXX, call me and left a voicemail informing me XXXX XXXX XXXX forwarded her my information and also told me that the military orders are not what they are used to and told me I needed to turn in a signed form. However, XXXX XXXX has not returned any of my emails either about this form and it is getting frustrating because Ive been trying to resolve this issue for months. No one is trying to help me and this mark is ruining my credit. I never moved in, never received keys, and they allowed someone else to live in the unit that I was supposedly supposed to be paying for. This is so frustrating and I do not want to be bothered with this apartment any further.
