Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I attempted to get out of default by entering a rehabilitation program ( 9 month program ). A title 4 was reinstated to my account after 6 months, I failed to make the other 3 months so I had to start over. They never asked me to resubmit my XXXX and Rehabilitation Agreement. In XX/XX/XXXX, I began making payments again and completed the program in XX/XX/XXXX, I asked the representative on the phone what the next step was and did I have to make anymore payments. He said No, you dont have to make anymore payments to us. Your loan is out of default, just wait for the next loan servicer to contact you. They will arrange your payments from here on out. That loan servicer is Reliant Capital Solutions, they didnt send me any mail or correspondence until XX/XX/XXXX. When I contacted them, they told me my loan had redefaulted and I should call the Dept. of Education. I spoke to 5 different people, all of which said different things as to why it was redefaulted. The representative I spoke to in XX/XX/XXXX gave me false information. Thus creating this massive problem. All 5 representatives I spoke to confirmed that I was correct and they made a mistake. Their solution was to have me start off the rehabilitation program and pay until Im out of default. They offered no assistance in the massive issue they created and Im graduating college a full year later because of their mistake.
