Consumer Complaint: First, have someone more knowledgeable respond to my complaint. I have re submitted my initial complaint for that very reason! I asked that they provide validity … .who ever responded didnt read the complaint or reach out for more information from XXXX . If I have to seek legal action, I will as this seems like it was fraudulently placed on my credit report. The attached response is the most unprofessional one that I have ever seen. This is not resolved and I am not done until it is. Do not place items on consumers credit reports if you cant properly verify the debt is even valid as Its against the law to do otherwise. If they did their research they would see that I did cancel services due to XXXX dispatching police to the incorrect residence on more than one occasion. I have XXXX XXXX children, which I also notified them of when I informed them that I was canceling the service.
If this doesnt get corrected ASAP I will contact an attorney with the FTC to have the entire company investigated.
I belive that this debt stemmed from a XXXX security system that I had installed into my home in XX/XX/2015 after my parents ( who were also customers ) referred me to them. Less than 4 months into having the security system my alarm was triggered and the police were dispatched. Although this was a false trigger, I was livid to realize that due to inaccurate information that XXXX had in their database, they sent the police to MY PARENTS HOUSE, instead of mine. I immediately voiced my concerns over this issue but it continued to happen even though the ” updated ” their systems every time this happened so I cancelled service the same year of having it installed. It was a meaningless security system if they continued to dispatch emergency assistance to the wrong address of call the incorrect numbers. I am not sure why this is being reported on my credit report but it needs to be removed asap. I did not receive and form of written communication from the debt collector that is reporting this false information, if i had I definitely would have disputed this. Both my parents and I have been more than dissatisfied with the ” service ” that XXXX provided.
