Consumer Complaint: I started searching around to find somewhere to live to finally move out of my mothers house I applied for a few places and kept getting denied, I had never moved out before so was wondering why I kept getting denied, I later checked my credit and saw that a debt collector that goes by preofessial debt collectors located in XXXX, so I called them and asked why that was on my credit when I never lived at XXXX XXXX, he stated he didnt know he would have to call the apartments and see. I called the apartments as well named XXXX XXXX in XXXX Alabama and spoke to the manager named XXXX ( XXXX is the apartments number ) provided my name and number and she stated there is no record of me ever living at the apartments, so I then called the management company the apartments is under which is called XXXX XXXX corporate office located in XXXX and the supervisor over the XXXX XXXX property whos name is XXXX XXXX also verified to me that they have no record of me ever living there, she then asked me why was I having an issue with something. I told her yes it is showing up on my credit that I owe you guys and its prevnting me from getting approved. She stated that I would dispute it with the ( 3 ) credit companies and when she has to verify there is no record she will do that, I was able to have XXXX remove it but XXXX and XXXX have not. I have disputed this already once I believe I had to redispute with XXXX and XXXX Im just really frustrated Ive spoken to every one in the apartments complex who is management and the management company and both have verified that there is no history! I have attached both numbers and managers names so you guys can do the same research I did talk to them directly so they can advise you guys that the apartment shouldve moved from my credit. I also spoke to the debt collectors when I noticed and after I called the property and advised them that I believe the account was put in error because Ive never lived there, I also shared with him that I spoke with the property manager and management company in which they both agreed that the property should not be on my credit and they dont have any history of me ever living there, while telling a rep at XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX what I discovered he proceeded to yell at me and say, well the fact of the matter is you are going to Pay us, it was very disturbing and they have Called constantly since! Im just trying to move forward and be able to find a place to stay. Thank you so much XXXX.
