I am also on SS. I haven’t spoke with my daughter in 7 years ( her choice ) and she won’t tell me where she is. My son said he would like to have a settlement with Navient ( {$5000.00} ) as long as it doesn’t effect my credit.
This student loan was for one semester that she never completed.
I have asked Navient to take me off the creditor list but I got no reply.
Again, my son said he would settle this loan for {$5000.00} as long as it doesn’t effect my or his credit.
