Consumer Complaint: The amount for my loan has increased, which to me makes no sense this has never happened before and I have been making payments on time every month for the past year. I have previously been placed on a wage garnishment which was supposed to be because they were not receiving a XXXX $ monthly payment, if it wasn’t the payment then it was paperwork. I also had made payments to a company who told me that they could help avoid the garnishment and get me on the right track which turned out to be a lie. ( wasted money, time, effort, and personal information ). My original loan amount was XXXX and that tripled to XXXX which i had gotten down to XXXX but is now back up to XXXX and I have never owed that much in student loans. I have yet to receive paperwork on how Navient is charging me interest, which as i said has never before happened.
