Consumer Complaint: ProCollect placed a {$230.00} charge on the XXXX web site ( the creditor name was XXXX/XXXX XXXX ) and was placed on my credit report.

I contacted ProCollect and after 5 minutes ProCollect realized they had the wrong XXXX XXXX XXXX they were pursuing ( my DOB is XX/XX/XXXX, the bad guy was XX/XX/XXXX). I have the Manager of ProCollect contact information as the Manager apologized to me several times about the mistaken identity against me and the case was immediately dropped against me. I then disputed this case at least 4 different times to XXXX to drop this ” closed ” case against me ; but for reasons unknown XXXX refuses to take this fraud off my credit report????
