Consumer Complaint: I called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/18 to make a negotiation so that they can settle my account due to I lost my job, and so that they can close my account after agreeing to the settlement amount. In a recorded line, a certain XXXX XXXX offered me to pay {$1200.00} up front to settle the account instead of paying the whole amount of {$2400.00}. I accepted the offer but before I gave my payment I have ask them to send me the settlement letter of {$1200.00} and that I do not owe any money to them after the settlement. He agreed to send me the settlement letter after 2 weeks or so. He eventually transferred me to another person who took my payment and gave me conf # XXXX. But after 2 weeks I received a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX stating that I still owe a balance of {$1200.00}. XXXX XXXX XXXX deceived me big time. On XX/XX/18 i tried contacting this company again to ask for the settlement letter but can’t reach anyone to help me. Phone # ‘s are listed below : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
