Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX account no.XXXX appeared for the 1st time on my Transunion credit bureau in mid to late XX/XX/2018.The original creditor had been paid 4 months before and said the collection was in error.Transunion today possess a letter from the original creditor saying the debt was paid and gave a contact number to verify.Transunion via phone call service to XXXX said they had received the document but hadn’t yet ruled on the matter.I have attached here letters from the original creditor saying I do not owe the debt and that debt was paid in XX/XX/2018.SO WHY IS THIS COLLECTION ACCT APPEARING ON MY TRANSUNION REPORT IN LATE XX/XX/2018 AND WHY DIDN’T TRANSUNION DELETE IT IMMMEDIATELY AFTER SPEAKING WITH ME TODAY.
CFPB PLEASE PUT THESE COMPANIES ON YOUR WATCH LIST FOR LEGAL ACTION.THEY HAVE DESTROYED MY CREDIT WITHOUT THE RIGHT TO DO SO.
