Consumer Complaint: Originally contacted XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX because they sent an account to Source Receivables stating that I owe {$440.00}. After speaking with XXXX XXXX XXXX they stated the balance is only {$91.00} and since it is in collections I have to pay the remaining balance with the collection agency ( Source Receivables ). I called Source Receivables and spoke with a manager by the name of XXXX whom asked me to email her bank statements and documentation from XXXX XXXX XXXX showing the payments that were made. The payments were made before the received the account. I also paid the {$91.00} ( confirmation # XXXX ). I emailed those documents and XXXX called me back stating that the account is indeed {$0.00} and she will send me documentation in a few minutes stating that the account balance is {$0.00}. I never received that email stating the account is paid in full w/ a balance of {$0.00} so I called twice on XX/XX/XXXX. The first time I called they stated that the account is {$0.00} and I should receive the email before XXXX. I have not received the email again so I called back the second time and they are stating that the account need to be {$0.00} in order to receive the email. I requested to speak to XXXX and they stated she is not available so I requested to speak to another manager. The rep. advised me that the the owner XXXX stated that ” he will not take the call because the balance is owed ” and the rep then proceeded to disconnect the call. After calling back I was told ” They are unaware of who the manager XXXX is and there is no one available to speak to me ”.
