Consumer Complaint: I received calls and letters from XXXX XXXX XXXX stating that four checks were written by me that were returned for STOP PAYMENT. I did not write these checks to XXXX XXXX XXXX. and nor do I live or shop in the city of this store. Additionally, the name used on these fraudulent checks is not my legal name.

I have responded in writing and sent certified mail to XXXX. They continue to harass me with ongoing letters demanding payment in full. Here are the details of these fraudulent checks : Date : XX/XX/2018 Merchant : XXXX XXXX XXXX Current Creditor : TeleCheck Amount : {$820.00} Reference # XXXX Date : XX/XX/2018 Merchant : XXXX XXXX XXXX Current Creditor : TeleCheck Amount : {$980.00} Reference # XXXX Date : XX/XX/2018 Merchant : XXXX XXXX XXXX Current Creditor : TeleCheck Amount : {$1500.00} Reference # XXXX Date : XX/XX/2018 Merchant : XXXX XXXX XXXX Current Creditor : TeleCheck Amount : {$1200.00} Reference # XXXX Note – I have filed a police report and contacted the credit bureaus about this matter. Any assistance that can be provided is greatly appreciated.
