Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from IQ Data International, advising me I owed a debt of {$13000.00} – related to a personal guaranty I signed on a lease for a business. This corporation ceased operations in XX/XX/XXXX.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I faxed a note to IQ Data, advising them of the Release of XXXX, signed XX/XX/XXXX – and included the First Amendment to the Lease – highlighting the sections where my personal XXXX was released.

On XX/XX/XXXX, IQ Data continued to pursue me for this debt that I had demonstrated I had no guaranty for – and I faxed a Cease and Desist notice to them. They have abided by the Desist letter – except for fraudulently reporting this debt as a derogatory remark to XXXX.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed the derogatory remark on my personal Credit report and faxed a letter to XXXX asking they remove it. I included the information provided to IQ data, and the First Ammendment to the Lease removing the personal Guaranty.

On XX/XX/XXXX, It seemed XXXX hadn’t removed the derogatory remark – so I faxed a followup, this time including a XXXX County Court result – showing that in XX/XX/XXXX, the original ebt holder tried to sue me for these debts – and the Court found the case was non-suited ( i.e. it was unfounded and thrown out ). I hoped with this court result would assist XXXX in correcting their error and removing the derogatory remark. ( Court Case Number : XXXX ) By XX/XX/XXXX, neither IQ data nor XXXX had responded or changed their derogatory remarks, so I had a lawyer send a letter of demand to IQ data to remove the derogatory remark.

It has been 10 days since that letter was sent, and no response has been received from IQ Data.
