Consumer Complaint: I submitted a fraud claim to XXXX XXXX XXXX, Federal Student Aid an office of the US Department and XXXX XXXX XXXX no response XX/XX/2018.Instead my file was transferred to another agency Allied Interstate on theXX/XX/2018.
XXXX XXXX Garnished me illegally. I had legal counsel at that time.
We assumed the issue was resolve. I receive a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX that I will not be offset XX/XX/2018 I was offset XX/XX/2018 ( enclosed is the letter ) Also I never received notice of Offset. Per the State Treasury funds should be giving back ( letter enclosed ) My Fraud Claim was not reviewed and XXXX XXXX XXXX refuse to return all funds. I submitted A hardship and I fit every criteria listed even eviction. Also I am on medical leave from my employer due to XXXX. In which I supplied documents I receive no income. XXXX XXXX XXXX violated FDCPA and FTC and never investigated my claim of fraud also I submitted there letter that they sent me in writing that they will not Offset or take any funds. I forward them back there own letters and documents from the department of treasury Nor Did Allied Interstate review. All calls were recorded even the call to the State Treasury that there was not a hold on funds. Which was forward to American student assistant, still no resolve.
