Consumer Complaint: I was notify by the I.C. System of a debt that I do not owe with XXXX. The account that they are talking about is XXXX ( XXXX ) and they have it under account number XXXX and the reference number is XXXX. The problem is that order was cancel back on XX/XX/XXXX. I have call XXXX and spoke to a XXXX, XXXX and no one can seem to find it. I do not owe them anything because it was cancel. I live in an apartment complex and satellites are not allow and I have my lease to proved. So it was never set up and I never got any equipments. I do not owe anything and XXXX said they do not see anything concern this account nor my phone number. Could this be a scam. Usually it takes 90 days before a company would put thing in collection department. If this order date was made and cancel on XX/XX/XXXX and and I am getting a collection notice from I.C. System on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX has it only collection department that I find out this morning. and they do not know anything about this. I concern this may be a scam and I do not owe anything because it was never setup and I have not sign anything and my landlord does not allow satellite at the apartment.
