Consumer Complaint: Ally Financial continues to report unverified and inaccurate information to XXXX.XXXX and XXXX. I sent a letter on XX/XX/2018 asking for validation of this debt under the FCRA Section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ). USPS certified receipt shows Ally received my letter on XX/XX/2018. After 30 days from the receipt of the validation of debt request, I received no response from Ally Financial. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent a follow-up letter demanding the inaccurate unverified information be deleted from my credit reports due to the violation of the FCRA Section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ). USPS receipt shows Ally received this follow-up letter on XX/XX/2018. Again Ally failed to provide me any verification or validation of the debt as required by law but did not delete the information from my credit reports. My complaint with the CFPB and intent to sue Ally Financial is based on the blatant violation of the FCRA Section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) by ( 1 ) Failing to validate the debt in question while continuing to report to the credit bureaus. ( 2 ) Verifying an account with the credit bureaus before my request for validation has been completed. ( 3 ) Knowingly reporting inaccurate, invalidated information .Documentation attached.
