Consumer Complaint: I was contacted by Nations Recovery, trying to collect on a debt that they said was taken out with XXXX. The loan would have to be at least 15 years old, since XXXX closed their office in the town i live in at least 15 years ago. This debt has not been on my credit report for at least 5 years, which is when i started using the XXXX XXXX app. I don’t have any documentation showing when the loan was taken out, and feel like it is outside the statute of limitations for Kentucky.
