Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted XXXX XXXX to inquiry about a medical account XXXX for {$160.00} showing my credit report. They stated was from a medical account that I’m own. I asked them when they sent the original letter to me and specifically what address they sent it to letting me know that I had a debt with them and what phone number they had where they tried to contact you. They gave me an address that I didn’t live since XXXX. I agreed to pay the full account because I was told that if I take care of the account they will remove the collection account from my credit report. This was stated on a recorded line. I took care of the debt and paid the complete full balance believing in their word that they were going to remove that account from my credit report. This account needs to be removed ASAP since I was told that will be removed from my credit report. I agreed with them to pay the complete amount no matter that I wasn’t sure if that were my debt and feel this is an unfair because they never received anything until it was too late and hit my credit report and I feel this is abusive because it is causing me a financial hardship because I’m having a lot of issues tryin g to qualify to buy a home and if I were able to qualify I’m going to end up having to pay a higher interest rate on a mortgage and that you feel like it is a UDAPP violation. I feel cheated by this company just to collect the money for that debt. contacting the collection agency and dispute this 1on the credit report but I haven’t been received any response or been successful in resolve this matter. I attached the proof that I made this payment in full on XX/XX/XXXX as I agreed with that company in our phone conversation.
