Consumer Complaint: I went to the hospital sometime in I believe in XX/XX/2013.I didn’t have insurance at the time or a job.I specifically told them to not do anything unless I qualify for free care.I applied for free care which they made me do and should have qualified with no problem because there was no income. Why I didn’t receive it till this day I have no idea. But it definitely should of been covered. I called way back and told them this and also told them to please do no test unless I have coverage.I assumed that I had free coverage because they ran some tests.I later received a bill for {$5700.00} that was reported to all three credit bureau’s.I called and disputed this bill but they have me jumping through hoops every time.
