Consumer Complaint: As I was reviewing my credit file to determine the status as well as cause for the status, I noticed several companies that I have no recollection of having any business nor having had/sign any contracts with one being XXXX XXXX ( Also known as/part of Continental Finance ). Yes indeed Ive attempted to rectify the issue on my own by initially disputing and requesting validation via the 3 major credit reporting agencies directly on XX/XX/2018 … the responses I received were verified It appears that these agencies aren’t doing any type of validation but asking these creditors is what they’ve posted accurate and no one doing any real investigation. I then decided to contact them ( XXXX XXXX/Continental Finance ) directly on XX/XX/2018 ( letter of dispute requesting validation along with fax confirmation attached ) and to date, I’ve received no response at all. I attempted calling ( XXXX ) today for another fax # or to confirm that which I have and the young lady ( XXXX ) advised me there wasn’t one she could give me. The fax number ( Fax : XXXX ) is indeed associated with their company. I have learned in my investigation they have several different cards/multiple company names and have had some legal issues as well having to refund customers an approximate $ XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ).
