Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX is attempting to collect on a debt and Negatively affecting my credit for a debt that they failed to validate by providing improper documentations from XXXX.
I found a collection account on my credit report by XXXX XXXX XXXX ( CCS ). I disputed the debt with them and they mailed a summary final statement from XXXX. My initial dispute letter to CCS detailed that this was not a debt that I owe and I requested detailed validation to include the automobile ( s ) and policy period for which they provided coverage. CCS did not comply with my request. A simple letter from XXXX just stating the balance owed without identifying the Vehicle ( s ) covered and not including the coverage period is not sufficient to prove that this is legitimate. I sent a second letter to XXXX and they failed to respond to me. I also mailed a letter directly requesting this information and again XXXX failed to respond. It’s been about 4 months now and CCS still has this on my credit report.
I want this DELETED from my credit report, I want proper documentation to support this debt and the opportunity to investigate it and respond accordingly.
