Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX contacted me via mail saying I owed money and they were trying to collect. I asked them to stop contacting me and to send me verification of the debt. I was told that if I ” disputed the debt ” by requesting that information they would not work with me in the future on settling the amount. Sometimes they would call and I would answer and no one would talk. The calls stopped until shortly after I received a letter. The calls resumed on XX/XX/XXXX. Sometimes I receive up to 5 calls a day. Please see the following for the list of dates and times I have received calls in the month of XX/XX/XXXX alone : XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX When I have spoken with them about potentially resolving the debt they are very pushy, to the point where I couldn’t speak without getting spoken over. I could not even attempt to make a plan to pay the debt if I wanted because they won’t pause to give me a chance to talk.

They have even contacted my step-dad and I never provided his information to them. I don’t know if they have contacted anyone else as well.
