Back in XXXX we moved into a new home and didn`t have a washer and dryer. So, the wife said they have a sale at XXXX XXXX. So I went there and they stated I can put this on the XXXX XXXX credit card and save even more. So, I took one out. I was told I have a year to pay interest free.. No Payments for a year option as well. So, I started paying on it in 6 months. {$200.00} a month from XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. Then I haven`t received any notification to pay any more. I thought I was done since after my purchase I cancelled the card so I don`t use it anymore except to use it for the payment purposes only …
So, if you add {$200.00} a month for 24 months of paying on it equals {$4800.00} on a {$1800.00} purchase. Okay 14 % interest … Paid off, Right? Nope.. They sent me a letter stating I owe them XXXX????? WRONG.. They are trying to get a double pay out of me.
Now that I told them that it was paid off since they haven`t sent me anything to pay for almost 2 years, it was paid in full. Then they said ” Oh we sent out notices ”!! I lived in the same house didn`t change addresses and I didn`t receive anything for almost 2 years?
