Consumer Complaint: I filed this complaint with the FTC # XXXX on XXXX XXXX XXXX Their response was not relevant.
Several months ago I was reported to the credit bureaus by the following company : Creditor Information – XXXX XXXX , XXXX .
Prior to this I was not contacted, not even once! It was regarding a disputed bill from XXXX XXXX from years ago. I had received collection agency letters previously but each company dropped the collection attempt after I wrote them back with proof that the bill is an error.
I have two compliants : First, XXXX should not be allowed to harass me in perpetuity because they dont want to accept the truth about their bill being an error.
Second, it should be illegal for a collection agency to report me without ever contacting me. I wrote them a message and the best they came up with was to call them.
Please note, I far prefer email over all other forms of communication, I am XXXX XXXX and unable to converse on the phone. I can access email easily using my eye mouse and will reply to your correspondence promptly.
