Consumer Complaint: I am an employee of a company that is owned by my husband. On XX/XX/18 around XXXX XXXX I received a phone call from a woman who failed to identify herself or what company she was calling from. She called my personal cell phone asking to speak to my husband and refused to give me any information regarding who she was. I am under no obligation to even speak to someone when they initiate a phone call like this. After a few minutes I decided to call the number back, assuming I would get a main menu type of answer, which would tell me what company was trying to contact me/my husband. The same woman answered and identified herself as XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX, and she was immediately rude once she realized it was me calling. I, of course, I then reciprocated the same tone and behavior toward her. She works for a company that supplied a loan to my husband ‘s business and she wanted to speak to him ( the owner ) regarding said loan. He called her back, spoke to her about her issue and told her to never ever call me on my personal phone number again. She has all corporate contact information and there is no reason for her to contact an employee on their personal phone number.
Part of my job is to deal with financial aspects of the business, so I sent an email to the original contact used to obtain the loan, asking for direction on other lenders they use. We intend to pull our loans from XXXX XXXX due to the interaction with XXXX yesterday. She decided, after being told never to contact me on my personal phone again, to call me on my personal phone number and complain about how I contacted the original lending company. Her contacting me is completely unnecessary and serves no purpose other than to harass me. She has been told now numerous times to contact only the company phone number if she has an issue.
My husband let many of his business owner friends and acquaintances know about this company prior to this unprofessional joke contacting me. Now we will begin the process of letting everyone know they are harassing, unprofessional, and bullies. I reside in Colorado, where harassment is illegal. She committed a crime as well as far as my local laws are concerned
