Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2012, the person at this number called my job. Call center at my job answered. The person told the operator that they were talking to me and got disconnected. The operator placed this person on hold and call me. He stated the person on the phone stated they were talking to me and got disconnected. The person side their name was XXXX. He placed me on hold the get more information. He returned to the line and stated the person was rude. I told the operator to transfer this person to me. I accepted the call the person stated, I knew you knew I was. I stated I did not. Person asked if my name was XXXX XXXX and said yes. The person if stay the address which he or she repeated and no because was not my address. They proceed to say you know I am and why am calling and I stated I do not. After this person got very rude at which I told them I dont know who they and please do called my job again. And they did, I would call the police report for harassment and hung up the phone. About five minutes later my husband called asking me if I know someone named XXXX and that he needed to contact me and have me give them a call. He stated that person read off several other people phone numbers that had which was my mother-in-law, my daughter, and a relative.
I googled the number and is listed to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have not applied for anything from this company. About two months my identity was stolen. I discovered this when I received an email from XXXX XXXX stating two computers had been shipped. I filed a police report and have been in the process of making sure I am reviewing my credit reports and notifying my credit card company and bank. So I dont know if this is someone using my information.
