Consumer Complaint: I received a letter dated XX/XX/2018 from FCR Collection Services ( FCR ) indicating that I owe {$250.00}. FCR is trying to collect payment for textbooks that were leased ( and not returned ) by someone using my stolen credit card number. I notified my bank when fraudulent charges appeared on my bank statement and XXXX XXXX removed the charges and cancelled my credit card. I have made two phone calls to FCR explaining the situation. One call was placed in XX/XX/2018 and the other call was placed on XX/XX/2018. FCR requested that I give them my email address so that they could send me an affidavit form to refute these cards. Instead of sending an affidavit form I am receiving monthly emails requesting payment. The latest email is threatening to have may account placed with a law office to pursue collection.
