Consumer Complaint: This was opened in XX/XX/XXXX. I want this deleted off my credit report immediately. Great Lakes sod this debt to the United States Department of Education. I paid this debt in FULL including all fees XX/XX/XXXX. As of today XX/XX/XXXX it is still showing on my credit report. In addition this shows as two separate negative items because Great Lakes is listed and US Department of Education. I have been denied new lines of credit more than 8 different times due to this false report. This is impacting my credit score negatively. It is not rising even though the debt was paid 19 months ago.
