Consumer Complaint: I reviewed my credit and noticed that an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$100.00} was being reported on my credit with the Original Creditor being XXXX XXXX. I never received any notice from this company regarding the debt. I called to make a payment to satisfy the debt and the rep XXXX XXXX advised me that XXXX XXXX no longer owed the debt and that it had been returned back to XXXX XXXX and that the collection account was closed. I advised the rep if they are no longer collecting on the account then my credit report needs to be updated to reflect. The rep kept repeating the same thing just stating that the account was returned to the Original Creditor and that it was closed. Repeatedly after not answering my question about the CBR reporting I asked to speak with a member of management and was advised that no manager was available. What type of professional establishment does not have a supervisor/manager available to handle escalated calls. The rep never addressed my question regarding how this account is being reflected on my credit and refused to let me speak to somebody above him. I advised the rep I would be filing a complaint and disconnected the call.
