Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2018 after verifying my credit report, I noticed that XXXX XXXX sold a debt of {$120.00} that I owed debt as a new debt to Waypoint Resource Group. Mind you, the debt was already two years old. So in XXXX, I contacted the debt collector and asked a routing question, if they settle on small balances as well. The young lady said they would accept {$87.00} as a full payment and solved the account if I paid the same day.

I requested a letter and receipt stating so, I never received it. So today I checked my account only to find that they report the account as ” Settled – less than full balance ” which is not the terms agreed upon.
