Consumer Complaint: A supposed law firm has been repeatedly calling me. They say they are from Citibank a company I have never opened and account with or one associated with it. everyday from am until pm I receive phone calls from XXXX, CT phone number XXXX. There message reads this message is intended for — — — — — my first name and last from in house processing division. I received an order for you it looks like pending matter unfortunately because I haven’t been able to reach you I will be pursuing you at your place of employment. and your case number is XXXX press if you want to speak to a representative or contact us at XXXX. So when I call it they tell me their name is XXXX from inhouse processing for Citibank and I owe XXXX from an account I supposedly opened in 2012. I never did nor did anyone trying to steal my identity because I moniter my credit has never been inquired or hit by any card or loan or mortgage by Citibank. I ask there address the company they are calling from they just say in house law firm and XXXX and when I state I have never had an account or card affiliated with Citibank they tell me I will be arrested and good luck in court in front of a judge and hang up. they have called my brothers house and repeatedly called my mothers residence threatening her they will arrest me. I called Citibank and mortgage they cant find anything related to me or my social security number. my mother had to change her phone number due to the threatening calls this is just not acceptable or right If there is anything you can do to help please do. thank you I have never received one piece of paperwork from these people EVER!!! not in mail in person only threatening phone calls.they have also called from XXXX are code and more.
