Consumer Complaint: I was told I owe a debt that I never had and has never even shown up on my credit report and its 8 years old, statute of limitations in my state is 6 years, I asked for written copies of last payment made, original account number and when the account was opened and they told me they wont and dont have to give me that information because they are a third party but told me dates over the phone but no original account number and also said that they are going to impose liens and levies against me and are in the process of bringing a civil suit against me and are going after my name which will prevent me from getting a job in a bank or going into the military among other things and will show up on a background check.
