Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX is garnishing my wages and filed for courts to do so on XX/XX/2018. I was not notified by courts nor addressed to appear in courts to dispute credit costs. I called company and no answer on ability to prove original amount of debt that was owed. The company has increased a XXXX dollar owed store credit card amount to over XXXX dollars and my wages are being garnished at 25 % of my paycheck.
I had no phone calls, letters nor warning for debt collection. Now, I am struggling to pay my bills and stay in my apartment. I cant believe companies can increase debt owed and just destroy your credit reputation. I am at a loss and just do not have faith in becoming a success in this country. I just dont know what to do and feel helpless and vulnerable to companies like XXXX XXXX.
