Consumer Complaint: Hello, I have a defaulted payday loan with XXXX. It was eventually taken over by XXXX XXXX aka GMA Investments. I believe in paying what I owe, so I made an agreement on XX/XX/18 with ” XXXX ” at XXXX to have {$25.00} taken out of one of my credit cards every month. When I saw the {$5.00} cash advance fee also taken out, I called XXXX back up and cancelled this arrangement and stated I would call back to make another arrangement. Today, XX/XX/18, I was notified via email from my credit card company that this company tried to take out another {$25.00}. Totally unauthorized. I called XXXX and asked why. He stated ” well, you never called back to make other arrangements. ” Isn’t this illegal? Please advise.

Thank you,
