Consumer Complaint: The company apparently just got my file from their ” client ” yesterday, however, they made up a lie and said that my boss ‘s cell phone and his ” ex wife ‘s ” cell phone were both listed as being mine so they tried to reach them. They called them at XXXX XXXX and lied to me about contacting them. That is harassment. They called me 2 times, no messages left. I don’t answer numbers that I don’t know and I return calls that leave messages. They are harassing and the manager actually hung up the phone on me when I asked for his direct contact information in order to handle the harassment. I never gave them permission to contact anyone, therefore, they should not be contacting my boss on his personal cell phone at XXXX XXXX XXXX. My personal business is nobody else ‘s business, especially not my boss and his ex wife!! This is also a debt that is from XX/XX/2007 that is out of the statute of limitations and their contacting my boss and reveling that they are collecting a debt from me is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
