Consumer Complaint: For over a 5 year period I’ve been making payments on a student loan that I’m unaware if the payments are credited to the outstanding balance. Also, on several occasions I requested statements of the balance, however, I received no documentation stating an accurate account of interest, balance and terms.
My loan was sold to Navient, when I was employed as a school teacher and I was in a forgiveness program ; however, after my loan was sold, the loan was no longer recognized in the program, the interest and debt owed, was increased to the original amount.
