Consumer Complaint: I was given misinformation about my repayment options and directed into forbearance even when there were other options available to me and going into forbearance would have hurt me on my path toward public service loan forgiveness. Also, the loan servicer I spoke with was not up to date on her knowledge about new programs ( temporary public service loan forgiveness ) and told me I was incorrect and wouldnt transfer me to a different servicer when requested.
