Consumer Complaint: Navient tries make you pay so much interest so that your principle is never paid. They give inconsistent information and each customer representative you speak to gives you different answers. They attempt to make you pay more than half your paycheck and say they can do nothing else, even when you are reaching out to them to make payments. They tie you in and threaten you with lawsuits when you are trying to set up a payment plan. Interests rates are really high and they report to the credit bureau and will not take off Mark ‘s they made which are incorrect even when your account is currently up to date. Proper loan education or information was not given at the time loans were taken out. Navient makes it so you can pay high payments each month and your loan will still never be done.
