Consumer Complaint: I first received a collection letter in XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$2600.00} from Resurgent Capital Services. Origination date with original creditor was XX/XX/XXXX, and the charge-off date was XX/XX/XXXX. I responded to this notice on XX/XX/XXXX, explaining that I as XXXX with the West Virginia XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX from XX/XX/XXXX – XX/XX/XXXX, and, therefore, disputed the validity of the debt as I could not have incurred it. I requested that the company immediately cease and desist all contact and communication with me. In late XXXX of this year, I again received a second collection notice from the same company for the same creditor, same time frame in the same amount. I sent out a second cease and desist letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, again disputing the validity of the debt due to my XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a third collection notice from this company ; same creditor, same time frame, same amount.
