Consumer Complaint: The customer service is horrible, i have been dealing with navient for years and I can not afford the monthly payments as i am still living in government dorms so my check is not as much i have ask if there was any way i could pay less money and they told me no that i would have to pay the XXXX a month i have tried to get my loans deferred as i am in school and they told me i could only get a 60dy hold and if I’m not more than half time i will still have to pay i am a young XXXXyear old and they are messing up my credit for a degree i didn’t even receive navient is very unhelpful and unreliable i would not recommend them to anyone they are not helpful and and if i pay the XXXX a month for 10 years that’s over 20,000 when my loans where only supposed to be XXXX and with the mlitiary service member relief act i should be caped at 6 %. If you could help me in any way it would be greatly appreciated.
