Consumer Complaint: When i was XXXX and first enrolled into college, i was under the impression that most of these loans were grants and i would not have to pay them back. It was never explained to me how interest would come into play with the loans down the road. I currently work full time but i can not afford to pay what they want for a monthly payment, and i have 5 loans that their expecting a monthly payment for. I had them deferred for a while but im not sure how much longer im able to do that for. If i was to pay what they calculate for each monthly payment, my daughter and i would be homeless because there’s no way i’d be able to keep a roof over our heads.
