Consumer Complaint: Navient, the servicer of student loans has now been sued by 5 states. Those include California, Illinois, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, and Washington. Navient is not only accused, but is scamming student loan borrowers, and I want to report the scam they’re attempting with me. For the past couple of months, I have been paying at least 80 % more than is due. They now show after I refinanced, I owe {$0.00} for an Unsusidized Stafford Loan. They deliberately are attempting to deceive me into not paying so they can accrue interest on a daily basis for the next couple of decades. On the Navient website, there is an option to ” Contact ” by email. When that option is selected, a new website opens and I required to login into my account. I have to repeat the same process, because they know full well, being under investigation for white collar crimes, they prohibit me from contacting them by way of email. They have no idea that I actually maintain full documentation on my payments and what is applied to principal versus interest. I have also provide full evidence to my Attorney General, XXXX XXXX, so he has additional leverage to press forward on ensuring that Navient is better regulated. I have pay far more than Navient requires, and wants, because I don’t trust Navient and their lack of ethics and honesty.
