Consumer Complaint: Bank of America says I have ” residual interest due ” even though I paid the account on time, by the due date, in full. How is that possible? Although the amount is nominal, it is the principal. How can the ” balance ” NOT BE THE BALANCE DUE???? When I questioned why I had a balance, I was told by the rep that it was ” residual interest ”. I paid the amount because I don’t want my credit to be destroyed over this amount. I want BOA censured or whatever it takes for them to stop ripping off the public.
