Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX keeps trying to collect on a debt that I do not owe for XXXX XXXX. I have faxed them and other collection agencies that I do not owe a balance. They said they would call the agent for the apartment to verify that I do not owe a balance. However I went to the apartment complex and the agent says she does not know the agency nor why they are trying to collect money. I was denied rental of an apartment because of this on my credit file when it’s not accurate. I have called them over and over again only to get the run around. I would like for it to be removed from my credit file permanently as Indo not owe the complex.
