Consumer Complaint: A woman called on XX/XX/2018 at XXXX and refused to identify herself other than to say her name was XXXX. Asked her at least 5 times to identify the company or what the call was about because she wanted me to confirm my name and year of birth before she would say who she worked for. Finally identified the company as Trellis Company, who I do have a payment plan with. I pointed out to her that it was XXXX in my time zone, which didn’t seem to phase her at all. She was calling about a {$5.00} debt that was less than 30-days old. All she had to do was say this is XXXX from XXXX and I would have recognized the call as legitimate and answered all her questions, even though it was too early in the morning for her to be calling me.
