Consumer Complaint: I have a debt on my credit report that is not mine. It is a debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX. The collection agency is Caine and Werner. I never knew what that was until it showed up on my report. There was an account opened in XX/XX/2017. I sent a letter telling them to verify the debt and they sent a response back. I have contacted the Fraud Analyst at XXXX also and have not gotten a response back. I sent letter to him via certified mail and the receipts were returned to me. I sent copies of the police report also. No one has contacted me back. And this debt is still on my credit report. The date of birth is wrong, the email is wrong, the address is wrong, the telephone number is wrong and I don’t know what XXXX is.
Creditor : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX- Account Number is XXXX Amount owed {$1600.00} Collection Agency- Caine & Weiner XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Ca XXXX/ Phone number is XXXX I sent a letter to the collection agency and XXXX XXXX at Fraud & Payments Analyst/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I called him and left voicemails with no response.
This is totally unfair. Police reports have been sent and no one is making any contact with me. I should not be responsible for a debt I did not charge.
