Consumer Statement:

April 1, 2019 I received a call from Start Fresh Program which claimed a link to Department of Education. I believed they were going to help me with my Parent Plus College Loan. I gave them all the information they asked for including Social Security number, bank account information, This evening I read a similar complaint on your website concerning this company. I have not been able to contact the company. I suspect I was scammed. I was recently in touch with my current loan holder, Mohela, a legitimate company but was trying to negotiate a new monthly payment so I was an easy mark for Fresh Start.org. Maybe I am getting ahead of myself but I don’t want to take that chance. I have to warn my bank not to allow this company to debit my account.

I have not been able to get in touch with the company but after seeing a complaint about this same company, I decided to file this complaint with you.
